Elephant Ouroboros

I began to think of my grandfather as an elephant
and myself as an elephant
and time as a trunk curled round
trumpeting until it rattles the dishes

What a marvelous idea -- an ouroboros elephant that wraps its trunk around its own tail. I love this!

Thanks. I think I'll try a whale next. And a pelican. I don't know why it's only a snake or dragon that gets ouroborized.
