According to a recent press release, the consensus of the Order of the Nights of Beard (at 5:00 o'clock, as shadows go) concerns the ATM that ate our Beard. The acronym is to blame: Antlers, Teeth, Moustache betrays a deliberate omission of the Beard, possibly an overt hatred of the Beard, and if seeing stars counts for anything, a propensity for violence toward the Beard.
